The HES PTO will host monthly board meetings to discuss current events, the treasurer's report and any messages from our community members who wish to reach out to parents. Please join us!

November- SKIPPING DUE TO FALL BREAK,
December- SKIPPING DUE TO WINTER BREAK

March 26th (Nominations for next board due)
April 30th (VOTING FOR NEW BOARD)
May 7th (Still a Wednesday, but due to Field Day it's important to have a planning day prior).

Join us and give your homeroom the teacher the chance to win a $20 gift card

Gift to the Teacher

At each of our meetings we take count of those who attended and the name of their child's teacher. At the end of the meeting, the teacher with the most parents who attended receives a $20 Gift Card. These cards may be used at the teacher's discretion, for personal or classroom needs.

HES PTO General Meeting Minutes

1. Board Introduced

2. VP Elected - Brittany Hiatt (Congratulations!!!!)

3. Events/Fundraisers Presented and Sign-Ups - updated under events

4. Treasurer Report - money expended for Open House, made with t-shirt sales & send budget to board members before and vote at next meeting.

5. Bylaws - updates presented (mostly cosmetic and added details to vacant executive board position paragraph), send to board members before and vote at next meeting.

6. Open Forum - Took school related questions, answered what we knew and referred the rest to HES admin staff. PTO events on HES campus is limited for now when kids are present and we will have to find innovative ways to get back to normal business. We need event/fundraiser chairperson positions filled to start working a plan to execute Friday popcorn sales/spirit day and Fall Fest activities as those are the closest events coming up.
