“Code of Geoethics” Commission, Geoethics Group, Geological Society of Chile. I am part of a commission responsible for writing the first Code of Geoethics in Chile. I have organized seminars, conducted and analysed polls, and wrote proposals for subsections of the code.

Editor “Geohuellas”, Environmental Geology Group, Geological Society of Chile. “Geohuellas” is a science communication journal on environmental geology and sustainability. I have contributed two articles and conducted an interview with the current Minister for the Environment (Chile), Dr. Maisa Rojas. I have also edited pieces by third parties. Since December 2021, I am the chief editor of “Geohuellas”.

Interviewee, “Quiero Ser Científico”, Radio Station “University of Chile” (102.5 fm). I was invited to the radio program “Quiero Ser Científico”, specialised on science communication and education. I share my experiences as a researcher in geology and engaged in conversation with high school students interested in pursuing geology as their career path.

Science lecturer “1000 Cientificos, 1000 Aulas”, Explora Program, ANID (former CONICYT). “Explora Program” is a Chilean governmental project, managed by the Chilean National Agency for Research and Development (ANID). The project gives scientists an opportunity to go to schools and present their research, engaging in education and science communication.

Geology teacher assistant, Science School for Children, University of Chile. “Science School for Children” is an educational project in which young students, between 12 and 14 years, have the opportunity of acquiring further insight into scientific disciplines during their summer and winter holidays. As teacher assistant, I prepared practical experiences, lessons, and fieldwork activities.

Mathematics teacher, Preparation School for College ‘Victor Jara’, University of Chile Students Union. “Victor Jara” is a social project in which university students help low-income school students preparing for the Chilean Universities Selection Test. As teacher, I prepared lessons and assignments. Overall, I helped the students throughout their preparation process.
