Hi! I am Hernán Bobadilla. I am a philosopher and geologist. My main research interests are concern topics in general philosophy of science, such as scientific models, scientific explanation, and scientific understanding. I have explored these topics in case studies in the Earth sciences, from earthquake models to storylines for extreme climate events attribution. I am also passionate about research on transdisciplinarity, studying subjects such as epistemic justice, local knowledge, and transformational leadership. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Politecnico di Milano.
