Boys Troop 860 was founded in 1981 and has a tradition of leadership, citizenship, and service to the community. In its history the troop has seen over 110 scouts advance to the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in scouting. Although advancement is an important part of the scouting experience, the troop also stresses outdoor outings, community service, and leadership development in the framework of a scout lead troop.
