Creating today for a Better Future
"At Hermandad Los Angeles, Economic and Community Development Corporation, our mission is to honor the legacy of Bert and Angelina Corona. Bert was a revered labor and civil rights activist, whose goal was to advance the needs of immigrants. Angelina has dedicated her life to empowering her community through education and environmental justice. Guided by their principles, we are dedicated to creating vibrant communities and fostering economic growth in Los Angeles. Through the development of affordable housing, we strive to address the pressing need for accessible housing options, ensuring that individuals and families have a place to call home. By embracing sustainable practices through environmental justice and forging strong community partnerships, we aim to empower residents and nurture a sense of belonging. Together, we work towards building a city that embodies justice, opportunity, and shared prosperity for all."
We are in the beginning phases of pre-development of a 100-unit affordable housing apartment in Van Nuys, CA.
We manage a soccer league at our Hermandad Mexicana Nacional, Panorama City, CA location.
We provide children with academic assistance, digital technology, and computer access. As well as extracurricular, cultural, and recreational activities.
This project focuses on the environmental justice issues by educating our latinx community about saving water, energy, and composting.
