Hello everyone, my name is Amari N. Wright. I am a current junior (Class of 2027) in high school based in Memphis, TN. I have an interest in majoring in Cybersecurity with a minor in Information Technology and I have taken initiative in creating the HERizon Technology Organization. I was inspired to make this program due to the persistent underrepresentation of women in the technology career. This program will be run by my co-founder Serenity and myself to create a grounded foundation of knowledge in different fields of technology. Workshops and mentorship will be open primarily for secondary students interested in STEM. I cannot wait to see how this program will expand in the near future!

Hello, my name is Serenity A. Flaherty and I am a citizen of the Shinnecock Nation. I am a current senior (Class of 2026) in high school based on Long Island, NY. I will be double majoring in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science, and am interested in a minor in sustainability. I was brought onto the project of co-founding the HERizon Technology Organization by Amari and I am extremely passionate about this project. I want to see more women flourish in STEM by giving them the resources to educate themselves on computer science topics. Learning how to code in Python has opened many doors for me and I am hoping this program can do the same for other women. I am extremely eager to see where this program will go!
