History of Heritage Memorial Park

The Heritage Memorial Park, a premier memorial services provider in the Philippines, officially began operations in February 2001. It was developed by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) on a portion of the former Fort Bonifacio military base in Taguig City, with the vision of creating a peaceful and well-maintained environment for both the deceased and their families. This large property, encompassing over 60 hectares, set itself apart as a modern alternative in the industry. A significant milestone in its history was the opening of its state-of-the-art Mortuary & Crematory in 2004, allowing the park to offer a comprehensive range of memorial products and services.

Over the years, the ownership and management structure has evolved to solidify its industry position. The park is managed by Rosehills Memorial Management Philippines Inc. (RMMI), which oversees the operations and maintenance of the facilities, ensuring continuous upkeep and world-class service. In 2013, the pre-need firm PhilPlans First Inc. acquired a majority stake in RMMI and a large inventory of memorial lots, cementing its financial foundation and commitment to growth in the life plan and memorial services sector. Today, The Heritage Park is known for its accessibility, varied memorial options (from lawn lots to estate lots and a columbary), and its reputation as a serene and dignified resting place.
