The first workshop was held in Kristiansand, Norway, hosted by the University of Agder on 1-2 June 2023. We brought together a group of local and international participants for an exploratory participatory workshop that help set the agenda for the rest of the project.
The workshop was kickstarted with a policy forum where key trends in regional green transitions in four Nordic regions (Agder, Östergötland, Tampere, North Jutland) where presented and discussed.

The second workshop was held in Tampere, Finland, hosted by Tampere University on 18-19 April 2024. A group of Nordic and other international scholars presented their academic contributions on the project's key themes. This workshop constituted a mid-stop in the three-part series, with academic presentations contributing to the shaping up of the broader intellectual project, and the edited book collection connected to it.
The workshop was kickstarted by a panel debate with academics and policy-makers providing perspectives from Tampere region (Finland) on Nordic universities and their role in regional green transitions. A podcast from this panel debate will be uploaded here soon.
