The poverty rate in Howard County has sharply increased after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Because of this, many families were made homeless, and it's become increasingly difficult to bounce back. It is crucial, now more than ever, that children are made aware of the help they can receive, and that they shouldn't be afraid of taking advantage of the resources made available to them.
