Spotlight show at Youth in Arts highlighting LGBTQ+ youth in Marin County
"What does it mean to be QUEER?"
Here and Queer aims to showcase and celebrate the diverse talents and perspectives of LGBTQ+ students within our community. The theme of this spotlight show is "What does it mean to be QUEER?". All who identify as Queer/LGBTQ+ are welcome to participate!
Student curator, Eva Hellmold, firmly believes that the arts are the most powerful form of expression and can serve as a medium for storytelling. This event provides a much needed platform for young Queer artists to share their stories and experiences through their art.

FORMS DUE : 5pm on JUNE 4th 2024
ART WORK DROP OFF: JUNE 5th (11:00am-5:30pm) + JUNE 6th (11:00am-4:00pm)
SHOW ON VIEW: JUNE 10th-21st 2024
PUBLIC RECEPTION: JUNE 14th (5-7pm)

If you would like to submit a visual art piece, fill out the "Art Entry Form"
If you would like to submit a written piece, fill out the "Writing Entry Form"
If you would like to participate by answering only the theme, fill out the "General Entry Form"
DISCLAIMER: If you are submitting a piece through either the "Writing Entry Form" or the "Art Entry Form", please DO NOT fill out the "General Entry Form". This form is only for individuals who are neither writers nor artists but would still like to share their experiences.
