Adolescent Reset is a 6-week small group class designed specifically for teenage dogs (approximately 6-18 months). This class focuses on rebuilding engagement, improving impulse control, teaching calm behaviors, and helping owners understand what's actually happening in their dog's brain during this stage of development.
We'll work on:
Engagement and focus around distractions
Impulse control without frustration or punishment
Loose leash foundations and real-life walking skills
Calm behaviors for the home and public spaces
Frustration tolerance and emotional regulation
This class is ideal for dogs who have outgrown puppy class but aren't quite ready for CGC, or for owners who feel overwhelmed by sudden behavior changes.

Canine Good Citizen
A 10-Week Group Class for Polite, Confident Dogs Over 6 months old
The Canine Good Citizen program is about more than passing a test; it's about living well together.
CGC is a 10-week small group class designed to help dogs develop reliable, polite behaviors in everyday situations while preparing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluation. This class focuses on calm behavior, clear communication, and real-world manners that make dogs easier to live with and welcome in public spaces.
Rather than drilling obedience, we emphasize emotional regulation, thoughtful practice, and confidence so dogs can perform skills calmly; not just when conditions are perfect.
We'll work on:
Polite greetings with people
Loose leash walking through distractions
Sit and down with duration
Stay and recall foundations
Handling and grooming manners
Calm behavior around people, dogs, and everyday environments
The CGC test will be offered at the end of the class for teams who are ready.
This class is ideal for:
