The adventure starts on the location called Borići, literally meaning "Small pine trees". We're gathering and slowly going uphill.
The first part of our route is the main path towards a mountain hut Za vratlom, meeting point of local mountaineers and fans of Mount Orjen.
After about 50 minutes of walking along the wide pathway, we begin to climb more intensively through a dense beech tree forest.
The beauty of nature around you will make that effort easier.
After approximately 60 minutes of going uphill through the forest, we're exiting on about 1400 meters above sea level. Our path goes across the reef over 3 peaks of Mount Orjen.
Challenging carstic relief which surrounds you is at the same time both obstacle and attraction. At the end of the reef, we're coming to a beautiful place for sightseeing on Boka Bay.
From the hight of about 1400 meters, we're slowly descending towards our final destination, village Žlijebi.
As it starts to appear in our sight, we're able to spot its specific location between sea and high mountain peaks.
Arrival on the property of our host Mr. Sikimic. His family has almost 400 years long tradition of living in this village.
We'll meet with the local customs, culture, and way of living. At the end comes degustation of meat products and plants produced by Sikimic family.
