Cape Cross is world renowned for its seal colony and the Welwitschia mirabilis - the ancient desert plant, still grows in the Namib and can be seen at certain spots. The Dead Sea near Mile 68 and the Zeila shipwreck is worth a visit and the houses at Wlotzkas Baken are very interesting too !

In town you can play golf, drink a cold beer or eat something at Skubbe Bar or De Duine Hotel with its magnificent view, as well as a couple of other nice restaurants, or stroll between all the small and very interesting shops to look for that perfect gift. OR GO FISHING !!!!
