I have started performing as well as building bagpipes. Specifically, I perform with the Swedish sackpipa, a very rare and soft-sounding bagpipe which creates a sound unlike any other instrument.
When performing at events, I can play a 30 minute set of a variety of music, or perform a few specific tunes to suit the occasion. Depending on the event, I can play the entire time, or include commentary on the history of various bagpipes, their construction, the music, and the Swedish bagpiping tradition.Â
