Research

RESEARCH PROGRAM

Drawing on my background in strategic management and computer engineering, I (1) adopt governance and organizational design lenses to study how agentic digital technologies changes organizational decision-making processes (Papers #1, 2, 3, 6, & 7), and (2) leverage novel methods for natural language processing to analyze large-scale text data to answer complex management issues (Papers #4 & 5). In the first stream, I examine what happens when organizations delegate judgement to (i) AI systems that assert judgements of their own and (ii) blockchain protocols that encode governance structures into smart contracts and voting formulas. In the second stream, I aim to apply mainly machine learning techniques to analyze the large scale of unstructured text data to answer complex management questions, currently focused on sustainability issues.
