I am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Tübingen in Germany, funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. I received my Ph.D. from Uppsala University in 2019 with the dissertation In Virtue of - Determination, Dependence, and Metaphysically Opaque Grounding. Inbetween, I held a different one-year postdoctoral fellowship at Tübingen and worked as a Senior Lecturer at Uppsala University on a fixed-term basis (to mention a few things).
My work generally focuses on some of the hyperintensional phenomena that structure our world, such as grounding, essence, ontological dependence, building, and causation. I am particularly interested in the nature of these phenomena and the way they are (or fail to be) interconnected with one another. I also have interests in metaethics and the philosophy of language.
When I'm not doing philosophy, I enjoy cross-country skiing and collecting weird guitar pedals.
