About Gamelab

Gamelab was a class all the students are put into groups in various different ways which was sometimes random, spesifically picked by the professors, picked by students, or a mix of these methods. The goal of gamelab is to simulate a work enciroment were students has to come up with ideas, pitch, and produce a interactive product such as a game or an app. The teams has to create their own team rules that is meant to reflect how companies has their own values. One of the students on the team is picked as a team lead, the team lead's responsibility is to have meetings with the professors and an external, these meetings simulate executive meetings with clients where the team leads present and discuss their progress, goals, issues, and questions. If any at any point the executives are unhappy with a project they have the ability to cancel the project and make the team create a new project, or split them up to apply for jobs in the other teams.

A God's Draw

This game started out as the project for GameLab 5. Now it is continuing to be the project for GameLab 6, where our goal is to polish, improve and make it as good as we possibly can with the time that is remaining.

My responsibilities on this project included: Planning mechanics, planning code, collaborating with the team lead with making tasks for other programmers, writing shaders, making VFX and cleaning up and improving older code, and implementing new mechanics.

Treasure Defence

This game was the second project I was officially the Programming Lead. It was also the first VR game I ever worked on. The development of this game took place between winter - summer semester in 2022, and was submitted to The Norwegian Game Awards only after a couple of months development and won the "Most Innovative Game" award of 2022.

My responsibilities on this project included: Planning mechanics, planning code, making tasks for other programmers, writing shaders, making VFX, and all things VR related. All the contributions i had to this project was huge, and the team voiced their opinions that it would not have been possible without me.
