I am a Lecturer in Communication Systems Engineering at Bahir Dar University (Bahir Dar Institute of Technology), where I teach computer networking, digital communications, and signal processing. My goal is to make engineering education engaging, practical, and accessible through hands-on learning.
My research focuses on wireless communications, UAV networks, intelligent communication systems, and next-generation networking technologies. I have published research in international journals and conferences, and you can explore my publications page. I also collaborate on transforming high-quality master's research into scholarly publications.
Beyond research and teaching, I create open educational resources, including Cisco Packet Tracer labs and networking tutorials, to help students and self-learners develop practical networking skills. You can explore these resources on my OER page.
I hold B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Communication Systems Engineering from Bahir Dar University. My current interests include 6G, TN-NTN integration, AI for communication networks, and engineering education. I welcome opportunities for research collaboration and educational initiatives.
