About Mrs. H

I am so excited to be your teacher this semester! We are going to work very hard, have some neat experiences, and make wonderful memories!

This is my seventh year teaching and I have taught Chemistry, AP Chem, Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, Earth Science, Physical Science, Biology, Foundations of Math 1, and Foundations of Math 2. Every semester, I strive to build relationships with my students and coworkers, become a better teacher, and to make sure my students have fun learning! My passion for teaching is what drove me to earn both my bachelors and masters degrees from UNC Chapel Hill and I constantly seek out ways to grow as an educator.

Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my husband and family, reading, baking, playing the ukulele, exercising, and trying new restaurants. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
