I am an Earth and atmospheric scientist with a focus on air quality research, which I have been pursuing since 2016. My work investigates air quality across regional and global scales, combining ground observations with advanced atmospheric modeling techniques. I am particularly interested in the impacts of anthropogenic and biomass burning emissions, climate change, and land use on air quality and public health.
I hold an MSc in Physical Geography from the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in Beijing and a PhD and Postdoctoral Researcher in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Currently, I work as a Research Assistant Professor at the Division of Environment and Sustainability, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. My research continues to address pressing environmental challenges by providing valuable insights into how air pollution and climate change intersect to shape our future.
