Meet Ms. Reynolds

My name is Shannon Reynolds and I am the school counselor here at Hembree Springs Elementary School. This is my 12th year as a school counselor. I attended Georgia Southern University for my undergraduate degree, Clark Atlanta University for my master’s degree in School Counseling, and the University of West Alabama for my specialist degree in School Counseling. I hold a current School Counseling certification and I am a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA).

I believe that each child is unique and deserving of unconditional positive regard and an equal education. My role is not just one of a counselor, but a collaborator, advocate, educational leader, and coordinator, promoting each child’s educational, emotional, social, and physical growth.

I look forward to communicating and collaborating with Hembree Springs students, parents, faculty, staff, and community, as we work together to contribute to the success of the whole child!
