"Syntheses and applications (Catalytic and Biological) of Germylenes"
I work on the low-valent chemistry group-14 elements with a considerable focus on germylenes' synthesis, reactivity, and catalytic applications. Currently, bulky aminotroponiminate and dipyrrinate ligands are used by me to offer stabilization to germanium(II) centers in the compounds that I synthesize. Isolating germylene stabilized metal complexes and studying their catalytic applications also attracts me. Further, I am pursuing the applications of germylenes and their metals complexes in biology as well.
For example, a) Aminotroponiminate ligand stabilized N-germylene pyrrole. b) Dipyrrinate ligand stabilized germylene mono-hydroxide shows antiproliferative effects on human cancer cell lines.Â
