Adventurer Song
A nice way to start your meeting by singing the Adventurer Song.
Basic Requirements
I. Recite the Adventurer Pledge and Law. Recite at home (modify)
Here it is the Adventurer Pledge to recite it with the Helping Hands
II. Explain the Law. Recite at home (modify).
The Helping Hands can recite the Adventurer Law.
This is another way to learn the Adventurer Pledge. The Helping Hands will have fun using sign language.
This is an interactive engaging Adventurer Song that includes the pledge by One Accord, for the Helping Hands to learn according to their age.
III. Complete the Helping Hand Reading award. Recommended to be done at home. We have added some of the requirements, but not all of them are here.

This story is about John 21:16, NIV
Book: Healthy Me
This book is about how children feel when they are healthy.
Feel free to read any other book about health.

This book show the feelings children experience in different life situations.
My God
I. God's Plan To Save Me. Meeting 1
(Leader's Guide pg. 29-32)
A. Create a story chart or lapbook showing the order in which these stories took place:
Provide crayons, markers, or water paint to help Halping Hand to color the pages. Have a great time doing this activity.

The Books of the Bible
Feel free to choice another song or activity to recite the books of the Old Testament.
Listen to a Bible story.
Teacher/Parent can tell any other Bible story during a ZOOM meeting.
III. God's Power in My Life. Meeting 5
(Leader's Guide Pg. 45-48)
A. Spend regular quiet time with Jesus to talk with Him and learn about Him.
Journal your time by writing, drawing, or recording a video (modify).
Recording a Video
This is another option that the Helping Hands can do instead of doing the printable prayer journals.
My Self
I. I Am Special. Meeting 4
(Leader's Guide pg. 41-44)
A. List some special interests and abilities God has given you. (New Talent award to earn with these requirements.)
B. Share your talents using one of the following:
Talent show
Show and tell
Teacher/Parent during ZOOM meeting ask the Helping Hands to talk or show the gifts or talents each Helping Hand has.
II. I Can Make Wise Choices. Meeting 7
(Leader's Guide pg. 53-56)
A. Learn the steps of good decision-making.
Video about How to Make Good Choices
Teacher/Parent after the video take some time with the Helping Hands to talk about the importance to make good choices. Let them take turns to share their thoughts.

This website provides ideas to play a fun game to practice making decisions.
Video: I make good choices
This video is to help children make good choices and learn about persistence, curiosity, self-control, and safety.
B. Use them to solve two real-life problems. Optional: Add activities to complete the Purity award.
III. I Can Care For My Body. Meeting 8

Hygiene. To complete this award, check the requirements and activities as needed.
My Family
I. I Have A Family. Meeting 10
(Leader's Guide pg. 65-68)
Make a scrapbook or picture book about your family history. (Option to earn an extra award for Meeting 10).
II. Family Members Care For Each Other. Meeting 11
(Leader's Guide pg. 69-72)
Help plan a special family worship, family night, or family outing.
Once a week at family worship they can read the appreciation notes

Family Game Night
Parents can choose one of these activities for family night. The main idea is to have a good time with the family.
Family worship
Feel free to use your family worship song and praise God with all your heart.
III. My Family Helps Me Care For Myself. Meeting 13

Complete a level 3 or 4 award not previously earned. See Additional Awards.
Technology (Computer Skills) award. To complete this award, check the requirements and add acivities as needed.
My World
I. The World of Friends. Meeting 14
(Leader's Guide pg. 81-84).
Caring Friend award. To complete this award, check requirements and add activities as needed.
Teacher, the special guest will join your ZOOM meeting and after introducing the special guest, give some time for the Helping Hands to ask the questions from requirement #2 (Caring Friend award).
II. The World of Other People. Meeting 15
(Leader's Guide pg. 85-88)
Country Fun award. To complete this award, check requirements and add activities as needed.
III. The World of Nature. Meeting 3
(Leader's Guide pg. 37-40)
Environmental award. To complete this award, check requirements and add activities as needed.
God Made Me song
Join the Helping Hands to sing this beautiful song to praise God.
Ways to help the environment
After the video ask for volunteers to share their ideas about recycling.
