Help my family to evacuate from Gaza !

My name is Hani AlAgha . I turned 28 years old last August .I’m a medical doctor working at Anaesthesia department in Nasser medical complex. My family used to live in the east Khanyounis ( South of Gaza ) before they evacuate shortly after 7th October to the west of Khanyounis . So far we displaced for the second time into a warehouse in Rafah . The situation gets worse day after day and the fear of another displacement grows everyday without any safe place to move to .

I’m writing this to seek your help to evacuate my family ( my parents and two sisters) urgently from Gaza .

After October 7th, I remained dedicated to my work, confronting a surge in explosive injuries and tirelessly working alongside a team of heroes. Day and night, for months on end, we saved lives and faced each challenge with unwavering determination. It was an honor to be part of such a courageous and dedicated team.  

In January, due to escalating conflict, we were compelled to evacuate the hospital, leaving behind our crucial work in a perilous situation. My family and I found ourselves in Rafah, displaced and without the comforts of home. Soon after, devastating news reached us – our beloved home had been bombed. The destruction not only took physical form in the shattered stones but also shattered our cherished memories and the moments of joy we once shared within those walls. It was a heart-wrenching blow, reminding us of the harsh realities of conflict and displacement.

The situation in Gaza has become increasingly dire, with danger lurking around every corner and no safe haven in sight. The constant fear of bombings pervades every moment, making life unbearable.

Escape seems like the only option, but it comes at a hefty price. To leave Gaza, we require expensive permits and evacuation fees, ranging from $6000 to $8000 per person. This financial burden is insurmountable for us, as we have already lost our home and livelihoods.
