Praxel VPN Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Praxel VPN (“the app”, “we”) handles information. Praxel VPN is a free, ad-supported VPN-style application distributed on Google Play. We do not create user accounts. Please read this policy before you use the app. By using Praxel VPN you acknowledge this policy.
1. Who provides the app
Praxel VPN is published as a mobile application for Android. You can contact the developer through the Praxel VPN Google Play listing. We do not operate a public website for this app at this time. This in-app policy is the full privacy notice.
2. What the app does
After you grant Android VPN permission, Praxel VPN can route supported app traffic through an HTTP CONNECT proxy that you select in the server list. The goal is to change the public IP address used by tunneled apps. This is not a military-grade anonymity network, a no-logs commercial VPN company product in the traditional sense, or a guarantee that you cannot be identified. DNS for tunneled apps is resolved through the selected proxy.
3. Information we do not collect
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, payment card, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location. We do not operate a Praxel VPN cloud dashboard that stores your browsing history. We do not sell personal information.
4. Information stored only on your device
The app stores preferences locally on your device, including: selected language, selected server, auto-reconnect setting, notification preference, and session timing used for the on-screen timer and optional status-bar notification. This information stays on the device unless you uninstall the app or clear app data.
5. Permissions
VPN permission: required to create the Android VpnService tunnel. Notification permission (Android 13+): used only if you keep connection-time notifications enabled. Internet and network state: required to reach proxies and to load ads. Foreground service: required so Android can keep the tunnel running with a persistent notification while connected.
6. Advertising — Google AdMob
Praxel VPN is free and is supported by advertisements provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC), using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Ad units may include a bottom banner, interstitial (full-screen) ads after connect or disconnect, and app-open ads when you return to the app. Google may collect and process data such as: advertising ID, IP address, device and app identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, device type and settings, ad views and clicks, crash and performance diagnostics, and consent signals. Google’s use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Google’s how Google uses data from apps (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). You can review or reset your advertising ID in Android settings. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions where required, we present Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form so you can accept, reject, or manage non-essential ads.
7. How ads relate to the VPN tunnel
This app process and Google Play Services are excluded from the VPN tunnel so that AdMob requests can use your real network identity rather than the proxy IP. That means advertising partners may see your real IP address even while other apps are tunneled. This is intentional so ads can load and so ad traffic is not mixed into the proxy path. If you do not want ads to use your real IP, do not use the app.
8. Third parties
Third parties that may process data in connection with the app include: Google LLC (AdMob, Google Play Services, User Messaging Platform / consent), and the independent proxy operators that host the servers you select. We do not control those proxy operators’ logs. Do not use Praxel VPN for activity that requires a contractual no-logs guarantee.
9. Children
Praxel VPN is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, stop use and uninstall it.
10. Data retention and security
Local preferences remain until you change them, clear app storage, or uninstall. Advertising data retention is determined by Google. We use standard Android platform protections. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Proxy connections use HTTP CONNECT; do not assume end-to-end encryption of all traffic beyond what each destination website or app already provides (for example HTTPS).
11. Your choices
You can disconnect the VPN at any time, change server, disable notifications, change language, or uninstall the app. You can manage ad consent where the consent form is required. You can opt out of ads personalization in Android advertising settings. Uninstalling the app removes local preferences stored by Praxel VPN.
12. International users
If you use the app from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google’s consent and ad technologies may apply additional rules. Legal bases for Google’s advertising processing are described in Google’s policies. We process local on-device settings as needed to operate the app you requested.
13. Changes
We may update this policy in the app. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
