COOSA Smart Plug from Amazon
This Smart Plug works with Google Home / Assistant and Amazon Alexa as well as the COOSA Phone Remote Control that requires eFamilyCloud app to set up and register the device.
It can then be used with :-
the Google Home App on Android ,or a Google Home speaker, that is linked to 'Smart Life' account via your Google Account to link devices like Smart Plugs and Wall Light Dimmers. Needs credentials pf@gm with pp99
an iPhone using the Apple 'Smart Life' app [not tested]
or with Amazon Alexa [not tested]
N.B.
The smart plug device requires a smartphone and a compatible 2.4Ghz WiFi signal over your home network to set it up, it can not [at least at present] be configured using a 5.0Ghz Wifi signal.

First smart plug device ....
Observations during set up with an Android smartphone using the eFamilyCloud app and the Google Home app :-
You need to plug the device into a 13amp socket and use the eFamilyCloud app [all explained in the product leaflet] to easily set up your account with them, register the first device, and test that you can switch it on/off with the app.
Then using the Google Home app on an Android smartphone [connected via 2.4Ghz network] the eFamilyCloud account can be linked to your Google account after which device can be linked to the Google Home / Assistant and be given a 'nickname' and 'location'.
During the above actions there are sometimes error / warning notices displayed saying that something has not worked and to check your network connection. However the WiFi signal was stable, and either (1) exiting and re-entering the app, or (2) simply re-doing the naming action the desired names appeared. Not sure if this is down to a software bug or a network blip but either way it did not take long to get it working o.k.
The smart plug could then be accessed over the 5Ghz network [as well as the 2.4Ghz network] using the Google Home app where the device 'nickname' and 'location' that you set up earlier will be visible under devices.
The Google Assistant could then be activated on either network speed using the smartphones, a Google Home or Google Home-Mini etc. to turn the plug on/off as required.Â
Subsequent devices ...
A second, and then a third smart plug device, were added to the eFamilyCloud account, but note that they are not dynamically available to the Google Home app. To make them operable it is necessary to use the Google Home app to disconnect your Google Account from the eFamilyCloud account and then re-connect the Google Account to the eFamilyCloud account to pick up the changes to the registered devices. All of the registered devices will now be available to the Home app and the Google Assistant.
