BAKE 'EM OFF
(Shake ...)
It’s Christmas Eve night
Time is getting tight
We have to make the dough (mmmm-hmmm)
Refrigerate, then roll (mmm-hmm)
Next we cut it into shapes
Then bake and decorate
We’ve got 10 pans to do (mmm-hmm)
We just might be screwed (mmm-hmm)
But if we get moving
Do our best to do them
Right now, mix the butter
And the sugar,
Eggs and flour and chai spices
Everything will be alright
CHORUS:
And the table’s gonna shake, shake, shake,
shake, shake, shake
As much as it can take, take, take, take, take, take
Gotta roll and bake, bake, bake, bake, bake, bake
Bake ‘em off, bake ‘em off
Then after we bake, bake, bake, bake, bake bake
Icing we will make, make, make, make, make, and colored
Sugar we will shake shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
Bake ‘em off, bake ‘em off
She grew up on a tree farm
So Christmas trees we gotta have
But our trees will have big bows
Instead of tinsel glam
Let us make bow cookies, too
We can add a lot of fringe
Squiggles, dots and curlicues
Overdo them so they’re cringe
CHORUS
BRIDGE (spoken)
Hey, hey, hey,
Just think, while running around
to buy a brand-new ugly sweater
You probably won’t wear
You could have been rolling and rolling,
And cutting out and rolling to this
Cray-zee beat
Uh-oh, things didn’t go as planned
But I got an auntie bringing over five pans
And my grandma’s chipping in two
There’ll be just decorating to do
I think we’re gonna make it through
We’re gonna bake, bake, bake!
CHORUS
Bake ‘em off, bake ‘em off
Bake ‘em off, bake ‘em off (UNTIL FADE)
RAKE 'EM UP
(Shake ...)
VERSE 1
The leaves are turning gold
The weather’s turning cold
Turning cold and brisk (Mmmm-hmm)
The trees will start to twist (Mmmm-hmm)
And the wind will blow
Blowing all the leaves
We roll up our sleeves (Mmmm-hmm)
As the leaves fly off the eaves (Mmmm-hmm)
Gotta keep raking
Keep that rake shaking
Out all these leaves
From in between
The tines.
CHORUS
And the trees are gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
Seem like they could break, break, break, break, break, break
So we have to rake, rake, rake, rake, rake … the leaves!
Rake 'em up
Rake 'em up!
And the trees shake every day, day, day, day, day
Is it more than we can take, take, take, take, take? NO!
Nothing left to say, say, say, say, say, say
Just rake 'em up, rake 'em up—we’re good neighbors!
Rake 'em up, rake 'em up (good neighbors)
Rake 'em up, rake 'em up (good neighbors)
Rake 'em up, rake 'em up (rake, rake, rake)
Rake 'em up, rake 'em up!

THERE'S A NEW YEAR COMING
(We Are Never ...)
My big brother did a crazy stunt on his
Skateboard and he broke it in half, he just
Should be glad he didn’t break himself, but I
See he’s still upset. (Why?)
Because his skateboard hasn’t been replaced. His fault.
He bought a lot of junk food, didn’t plan and save
Enough of his allowance, a mistake! Now he
Has to walk around town, feeling like a true clown. And
Soon, Oooh, Oooh-Oooh-Oooh
He's worn down to the nubs his coolest
Shoes, Oooh, Oooh-Oooh-Oooh
Big bro’, I’m telling you, I’m telling you
CHORUS
Keep on humming, humming, humming
There’s a new year coming!
Keep on humming, humming, humming
There’s a new year coming!
Let’s roll off the old year,
Greet the new year,
Make it grand, just
Keep on humming, humming, humming, humming
There’s a new year coming!
My big sister gave herself a perm, it was
The kind that’s super curly, or supposed to be.
It changed and just became one big frizz ball. Okay,
I thought. But she was really, really freaked. Oh, no!
She cut off every hair upon her head, leaving
A shape and size that makes baldness unwise. She said,
“My friends tell me it's really super cool.” But I knew
She knew I would tell her the truth, 'cause I love her, and
Oooh, Oooh, Oooh-Oooh-Oooh
She looked like a baby kangaroo, oh,
Oooh, Oooh, Oooh-Oooh-Oooh
It’s fine, I’m telling you, telling you
CHORUS
Happy New Year 2025!

VERSE 2
Leaves so pretty, red and gold.
But soon they’re wet and cold.
We want no one to slip and fall (Mmmm-hmmm)
We’re good neighbors one and all. (Mmmm-hmmm)
On the sidewalk, rain or sun,
Pile 'em high, let’s get this done.
Who knew raking could be fun? (Mmmm-hmmm)
Who knew raking could be fun? (Mmmm-hmmm)
Gotta keep raking
Keep that rake shaking
Out all these leaves
From in between
The tines.
CHORUS
BRIDGE
Neighbors coming, helping out
Laughs and cheers, there’s no doubt
We’ve got this, together strong
Rake ‘em up, sing along!
CHORUS

BUBBLES, BUBBLES, BUBBLES
(Trouble ...)
VERSE 1
Imagine that the skies are clear
It's bubble-blowing time, my dear.
The sun’s shining, it’s shining, it’s shining, it’s shining.
Grab your wand and let's go play,
Bubbles floating every day,
Around me,
Around me, around me, around me.
And when I blow
And the bubbles float
All around me
I feel happy and free
CHORUS
Oh, I can't wait until it's spring again,
For if I blow bubbles now,
They’ll freeze over
Into globes and then
They’ll be crashing on the ground
Oh, I can't wait until it's spring again,
For if I blow bubbles now,
They’ll freeze over
Into globes and then
They’ll be crashing on the cold, hard ground.
Wow ... wow ... bubbles, bubbles, bubbles.
Wow ... wow ... bubbles, bubbles, bubbles.
Wow ... wow ... bubbles, bubbles, bubbles.
Wow ... wow ... bubbles, bubbles, bubbles.
VERSE 2
Before you know it, it’ll be spring
With bubbles soaring in the warm breeze
Around me
Around me
Around me
VERSE 2 (Continued)
The air we blow makes bubbles soar
Let's keep blowing till our cheeks are sore
They’re popping
They’re popping
They’re popping
They’re popping
And when I blow
And the bubbles float
All around me
I feel happy and free
CHORUS
I AM NEVER EVER GONNA HATE THE WEATHER
(We Are Never ...)
I know the kind of weather that comes, is the
Kind of weather that we really need, you know
The rain grows the flowers and herbs, and the
Veggies that are good for us from seed, and so
Boo to all the people who like … to gripe
Just because we get a day of rain, their pain
Seems just a little out of place, because
The seeds need to get wet
Or else we don’t get fed
And Oooh, Oooh, Oooh-Oooh-Oooh
I refuse to get the blues, oh
Oooh, Oooh, Oooh-Oooh-Oooh
Sleet or rain, it’s all good news, it’s all good news and
I am never ever ever gonna hate the weather
I am never ever ever gonna hate the weather
I’ll go walk the sidewalk, unless ice is on the ground
And I am never ever ever gonna hate the weather
And when the early morning sky is full of fog … and my
Mom would rather stretch out like a log, she knows
Someone has to walk our poodle dog … because
I’m too young to do it by myself , but when
I grow older I won’t even mind, because
Fog rarely lasts long in our clime, and soon
After Poodle Dog and I depart, the fog
Has lifted and gifted
a blue sky that’s sun bright
And Oooh, Oooh, Oooh-Oooh-Oooh
I refuse to get the blues, oh
Oooh, Oooh, Oooh-Oooh-Oooh
Sleet or rain, it’s all good news, it’s all good news and
And I am never ever ever gonna hate the weather
I am never ever ever gonna hate the weather
If too much snow makes a rough go, my plan is to make a snowman
And I am never ever ever gonna hate the weather
