Help Joy Fight Cancer!
Cancer Is Not Gonna Win — I'm Fighting With Joy Billard
Father God,
We lift Joy before You.
Cover her with Your presence. Give her strength when she is tired, courage when the journey feels overwhelming and peace when uncertainty tries to enter her heart.
Guide every physician, nurse and medical professional involved in her care. Give them wisdom concerning every treatment and every decision.
Cover Joy's children and family. Meet every physical, emotional, spiritual and financial need.
Continue to remind Joy that she is surrounded by love and that she does not walk this journey alone.
We stand together in faith, hope and love.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Update 7/29/26
My name is Joy Billard, and I am courageously fighting Stage 4 cancer. What began as a diagnosis of liver cancer has now progressed to both of my lungs and my chest cavity. While this news has been heartbreaking, I continue to stand firmly in my faith, believing that God is my healer and that my story is not over.
I am currently seeking specialized medical treatment in Houston, trusting that it will provide the best opportunity for my care. This journey requires ongoing treatments, medications, travel, and frequent medical appointments, all while trying to care for my children. The financial burden has become overwhelming, making it difficult to cover both my medical expenses and everyday household needs.
If you are able, I humbly ask for your support through a donation of any amount. Every gift—no matter how large or small—will help with medical treatments, travel expenses, medications, household bills, and providing for my family during this difficult season.
More than anything, I ask that you keep me and my children lifted in prayer. I am determined to keep fighting, and I place my hope and trust in God each day. I believe that with faith, love, and the support of my community, I can continue this journey with strength and courage.Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering prayers. Your support means more to me than words can express, and I am deeply grateful for every act of love shown to my family.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Joy Billard
Update 2/22/26
Life can change in an instant. Being diagnosed with stage four cancer forced me to step away from the life I once knew and focus completely on fighting for my health and my future. Per my doctors’ orders, I am unable to work right now as my body undergoes ongoing treatments and recovery. Learning to slow down and depend on others has been one of the most humbling and challenging parts of this journey.
What makes this cause special is that it represents more than medical support — it represents hope, dignity, and the strength of community during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Behind every appointment, treatment, and long day is a person who still dreams, still believes, and still wants to live fully despite the obstacles placed in front of me.
Your generosity helps relieve the overwhelming stress of medical and everyday living expenses while I focus on healing and following the care plan my doctors have set for me. It allows me to give my energy to recovery, to spend meaningful time with loved ones, and to continue fighting with faith and determination instead of fear.
Every donation becomes more than financial assistance. It becomes encouragement on the days when I feel tired, comfort during uncertain moments, and proof that kindness still exists in this world. You are not just supporting a cause — you are standing beside someone who refuses to give up.
Thank you for believing in my fight, for lifting me up through your compassion, and for helping me continue this journey with hope, courage, and gratitude.

Joy Billard is a devoted mother of three, currently fighting the toughest battle of her life. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that has spread to her liver. As if that weren’t enough, she is now hospitalized with blood clots in both legs and is preparing to begin chemotherapy in the coming weeks.
This is not Joy’s first battle with cancer—she previously overcame stomach cancer. Her strength is undeniable, but right now, she needs all of us to rally around her.
Joy needs urgent help covering the cost of food, household bills, transportation, and medical expenses.
If you’ve ever met Joy, you know her heart is full of love, kindness, and resilience. Now, it's our turn to give back to a woman who has always put her children and family first.
Please consider donating whatever you can. Every dollar brings relief and hope. And if you can’t donate, please share this fundraiser with others.
