DoSnap Support
DoSnap: Scan & Act helps you scan supported documents and review extracted details before saving.
Supported in version 1.1
• Business cards: review names, phone numbers, email addresses, websites, companies, addresses, and notes before adding them to Contacts
• Product warranties: review product details, purchase dates, expiration dates, company information, and notes before saving
• Next visit notes: review follow-up dates, providers, phone numbers, locations, and notes before creating a Reminder or Calendar event
• Event invitations: review event titles, dates, times, locations, and notes before creating a Calendar event
• Grocery receipts: review stores, items, totals, taxes, discounts, payments, and categories before saving an expense
• Bills and statements: review billers, amounts, due dates, expiration dates, account numbers, payment instructions, contact information, and payment websites before creating a reminder
Every result remains editable. DoSnap never adds a contact, creates a reminder, creates a calendar event, saves an expense, or saves a warranty
without your review and confirmation.
AI Recognition
AI Recognition is set to Always use AI by default for new users.
In Always use AI mode, DoSnap sends the photographed document to cloud AI through Firebase AI Logic for recognition and structured extraction after you accept the AI disclosure.
You can select On-device only in Settings. In On-device only mode, your document is not sent to cloud AI, although difficult documents may require
manual correction.
AI Scan Usage
New users receive a limited number of AI scans. You can view your remaining scans in Settings → AI Scan Usage.
When your allowance is used, you can purchase additional AI scan packs:
• 100 AI scans
• 500 AI scans
• 1,000 AI scans
Feedback and Support
You can send feedback from Settings or from supported review screens.
When contacting support, include your Support ID. You can find and copy it in Settings below Feedback. The Support ID is an anonymous identifier used to locate your scan-credit and purchase records. DoSnap does not require account creation or Sign in with Apple.
Permissions
DoSnap may ask for permission when you choose actions such as:
• Adding a contact
• Creating a reminder
• Creating a calendar event
• Selecting or scanning documents/photos
Privacy
DoSnap does not require sign-in. Document images are processed on-device unless you enable cloud AI recognition. When cloud AI is enabled, the image may be sent to Google Gemini through Firebase AI Logic for recognition.
DoSnap does not intentionally store scanned images, raw OCR text, or AI responses in its Firebase database or analytics.
