Pontian Bus Terminal

• Address: Pontian Kechil, 82000 Pontian District, Johor

• The terminal handles both local bus services within Johor (e.g., routes to Gelang Patah, Ayer Baloi, Benut) and inter-city express buses to destinations such as Batu Pahat, Muar, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Pahang, Melaka. 

• Buses from the nearby main hub at Larkin Sentral (Johor Bahru) connect to Pontian Bus Terminal in about 1h10m (ticket around RM 5-10) according to one source. 

Kukup Ferry Terminal

• Address: Jalan Kukup Laut, 82300 Kukup, Pontian, Johor. 

• The terminal serves as a ferry point for travellers heading to nearby Indonesian destinations (for example, the route to Selat Panjang, Riau, was newly introduced). 

• You can reach Kukup Ferry Terminal from Pontian via bus (for example, bus no. 605 from Pontian Terminal to Kukup) or by taxi/ride share. 

• The ferry links Malaysia (Kukup) to parts of Indonesia – helpful if you’re planning cross-border or island trips from Pontian. 

Benut Bus Terminal

• Address: Jalan Abdul Jalil, 10 (or near) Benut, 82200 Pontian, Johor. 

• Functions as a bus terminal hub for the town of Benut, thus providing access for the surrounding area. 

• Useful for catching buses to/from other towns in Pontian district, and connecting to major corridors.
