The Business Problem:
The existing event platform was burdened by a fragmented, multi-page architecture and redundant navigation that obscured critical user paths. For an annual flagship event targeting HR practitioners, this friction led to information silos and potential drop-offs in registration.
The challenge was to consolidate a deep hierarchy of agendas, sponsorship details, and exhibitor data into a high-performance, single-page experience that prioritized conversion without sacrificing content depth.
The Strategic Solution:
I led a comprehensive architectural audit to eliminate content redundancy and merge primary and secondary navigation into a streamlined, single-page scrolling narrative.
Acting as a Product Architect, I modernized the visual language to drive engagement while engineering a robust, categorized FAQ system based on historical user pain points.
By auditing all UI assets and refining the transactional flow, I ensured that registration, agenda downloads, and sponsorship inquiries were integrated into a frictionless, cohesive user journey.
The Result:
The transformation resulted in a modernized, high-conversion landing page that successfully bridged the gap between brand excitement and functional utility.
By centralizing the ecosystem into a single-page framework, we significantly reduced user navigation effort and simplified the administrative overhead.
The final delivery provided HR practitioners with an intuitive, "one-stop" resource, securing high stakeholder buy-in and establishing a scalable template for future annual events.
To navigate the project’s complexity, I implemented a modular design strategy, beginning with a high-level architectural audit and manual sketching to define the single-page flow. A primary focus was the content strategy for the FAQ ecosystem; I led stakeholder workshops to distill over 60 redundant queries into a streamlined, categorized knowledge base. By developing a targeted functional prototype for this section first, I secured early stakeholder alignment on information density before scaling the design to the broader site.
Following the logic of the Lean UX cycle, I transitioned into high-fidelity wireframing and interactive prototyping. I conducted moderated usability testing with key stakeholders and a select group of HR practitioners to validate the navigational hierarchy and "one-page" scrolling logic. This iterative feedback loop allowed me to refine the interaction model in real-time, ensuring a validated, high-confidence transition into the final visual design phase.
Facing a transitional rebranding period, I established a cohesive visual language from the ground up, using the new iconographic suite to anchor a high-performance UI. I employed a modular layout strategy—punctuated by data visualizations and social proof—to mitigate scroll fatigue and maintain engagement throughout the single-page narrative. This phase culminated in a high-fidelity prototype that allowed us to validate the interaction model and ensure the visual hierarchy drove users directly toward event registration.

Retrospective:
Challenge: The primary objective was to consolidate a fragmented, multi-page event ecosystem into a high-performance, single-page scrolling
experience for HR professionals. Operating without established brand guidelines during a company-wide rebrand, I had to architect a cohesive visual language while distilling a massive, 60-item FAQ database into a streamlined, user-centric knowledge base under tight deadlines
Takeaway: The initiative delivered a modernized, production-ready event site that significantly reduced navigational friction and administrative overhead. By transforming the complex hierarchy into a validated, interactive prototype, I secured immediate stakeholder approval and provided a scalable "one-stop" digital resource that optimized the path to registration and sponsorship.
The Result: This project served as a masterclass in designing through ambiguity, proving that a "Product Architect" mindset can drive brand consistency even when formal guidelines are absent. I learned that by prioritizing a modular layout and strategic data visualization, you can mitigate "scroll fatigue" on long-form pages, ensuring the visual hierarchy remains a functional tool for driving business conversions.
