HVAC & FILTERS
Keep filters clean to prevent damage and keep the units running well. Each apartment has different AC setups. Only follow the steps that apply to your unit. T
Window AC Unit
Clean the filter every 2 - 3 months
Remove front grill → take out filter → vacuum → wash with warm soapy water → dry → reinstall

Clean both front filters every month
Lift the cover, slide out filters, rinse, dry, reinstall

Replace the disposable filter every 3 months
Match the airflow arrow on the new filter

BATTERIES & SAFETY DEVICES
I install fresh batteries at move-in. After that, you replace them when needed.
Keyless Locks
Beeping = low batteries
Uses 4 AA batteries. To replace, lift up the back cover. (Pull hard)
Smoke Detectors
Chirping = replace battery
Press “test” occasionally to make sure it’s working
WINTER PREP
When the temperature drops, here are a few quick things you can do to make sure your pipes don't freeze.
Keep heat set to at least 65°, even if you’re away, to prevent frozen pipes.
Open cabinet doors under sinks during freezing nights so warm air can circulate.
Let faucets drip slightly if temps drop below 25°.
Parking available in the parking lot or on the street
Guests should use street parking
Don’t block neighboring driveways or alleys
Pickup is Tuesday
Put bins out by 6am
Bag trash before placing it in the bins
Bring bins back in the same day
