helene ridderberg (she/they) is a 27 year old queer, femme (performance)maker from the countryside of Denmark, currently based in Amsterdam. They started choir-singing as a child which was followed by studying both music, dance and theatre, all which now constitute their eclectic practice as a performer and maker. Their artistic motivation is fueled by an interest in the complexity of relation in all its ways, hidden or otherwise. They are working with a devotion to a worldview where magic is not exclusively a supernatural force or entity, but rather a force that is available through magnified attention. It is part of a motivation to challenge fixed notions of reality and specifically the obsession with binaries in the current landscape of North-Western Europe and its politics.

They graduated in choreography from SNDO at the Amsterdam University of Arts in the summer of 2025
