Hi! I'm Helen. 

Together with my husband, Wayne, we run Salient Books UK. Helen Made Me is part of that enterprise.

Trying to be sustainable and to save money, I've been repurposing old jeans and other unwanted fabric (such as clothing or curtains) for many years.  Last year (2024), someone suggested I start selling some of these creations.  After some successful trials with friends and family, I've decided to pursue it. 

Choose from Bags, Zip Pouches, Soft Toys or small Household items.  Everything is handmade, and no two items are exactly the same.  Bags can be made to order, allowing some customisation (see the Bags pages for more details)
