And just who do we have here?
Are you here to kill us?
Well, get in line.
Oh! This is so much fun!
ABBI
ABBI on the outside is an eccentric fashion lover who likes to show off how much she values her own and other people’s outward appearances by gathering unnecessary designer pieces for her new found family despite their impracticality. This leads people to believe that she’s irresponsible and a liability. However, in reality the opposite couldn’t be more true because Abbi’s real talents lie in the technical and scientific aspect of life in the apocalypse. Abbi is a genius in all areas of physics, science and math. She is a naturally curious person who wants to study whatever she can, but it’s that same reckless curiosity that puts her and her friends in dangerous situations to which she’d have to be saved from. With this knowledge, she is able to create disgusting yet effective medicine, oddly shaped yet powerful tools and strategies to help the vigilantes survive the new world and missions all the while keeping them clean, healthy and fashion forward. She tends to be more motherly and playful towards the people she loves which are traits she had repressed due to her need to maintain her “good girl” image before the apocalypse. Although she can be selfish as she prioritizes herself and science first and foremost, Abbi will stop at nothing to get the information (or the designer handbag) that she wants even if that means killing innocent people to do so. If there's one thing you can count on, it’s that Abbi always produces results.
Weapon: Metal Bat
Strengths: Her insatiable appetite for knowledge, strategy, fashion, sprinting in heels
Weaknesses: Her insatiable appetite for knowledge, subpar physical strength, her inability of thinking about her own and her companions wellbeing when she’s working
What, are you picking a fight?
ISE
ISE is the main exterminator, sub-category Primal Hunters. Driven with a deep-rooted animosity and a personal vendetta against the LIBERATION's Armory department, Ise specializes in hunting down the most formidable creatures attacking remnant camps and sabotaging Liberation expeditions or missions, mostly for the sake of seeking direct conflict with the department head. Her cold-blooded kills are spurred on even more by the voice inside her head of which she calls Hal, only being satiated to silence and a chilling detachment when she's covered with blood and gore, slowly spiralling her down further into the clutches of insanity. Likewise, however, this leads her to having, more or less, eyes at the back of her head, Ise growing even more formidable at the face of the apocalypse but in return, making her begrudgingly work together with Hal for the sake of survival. With her past shadowed in unspoken truths, it seems there's more to her than meets the eye, especially with regards to her connections with a certain rogue remnant group outside the LIBERATION's control. How can she describe herself? Well, she prefers not speak in wise words for her actions depict her character better--but you know what? Fuck it. Listen up, motherfuckers! Nothing's gonna stand in her way, she's going to stay alive until the end of this stupid, fucking apocalypse, got it?!
Weapon: Big axe, two small axes that can be linked via a chain
Strengths: Brute strength and fighting prowess, lying, unpredictability, vicious tenacity in the face of adversity, adept in thievery and burglary
Weaknesses: Extreme apathy to non-interests, sensory overload triggers bloodlust even to allies, technology, she is very insane actually
This is a waste of my time.
LOTTA
LOTTA is the main scout, sub-category Recon. She specializes in collecting information for the trio and the rest of the vigilantes, whether it be places to gather resources from, or the whereabouts of potential enemies. Lotta - when not stoic - can come off as standoffish and arrogant, but thanks to her straightforwardness and ability to see clear objectives, she takes on many responsibilities. Such responsibilities include training the younger or more inexperienced vigilantes in combat for wouldn't it become a hassle to herself when these people get home to the bases all bloody and bruised? Cleanliness was a priority as well, everything must be in order. And thus, she also takes it upon herself to handle the transportation as she can't trust the maintenance of her vehicles to the two imbeciles living with her; cooking, as that's the way she's certain the food would be edible and safe to eat, especially far away from the hands of a certain scientist she constantly has to hammer out of the kitchen a dozen times over within a week; and keeping in track of an organized inventory of necessities, as if it weren't for her, they would've starved and plundered themselves into an embarrassing state of helplessness--one that didn't involve dying on a hands of a creature, but due to an idiocy of which could've been prevented--a long time ago. This is how it should be. Her meticulousness is the reason why she's survived this long. Her scrupulousness is why they've kept themselves out of sight for so long. In other people's opinion, her fastidiousness in even the smallest of things were more than enough. Just why wasn't it enough when she needed it the most?
Weapon: Big Hammer, small knife
Strengths: Educated in both martial arts and classic subjects, independent, responsible, able to remain calm in stressful situations
Weaknesses: Can be cruel towards others if they are in the way of her objective, uninterested in (most) other people, overly fastidious
Who cares for your glory?
You're not the boss of me.
They live in an abandoned school compound somewhere near the outskirts of the former biggest city before it was brought down by the apocalypse. The biggest building serves as the trio’s safe house, a place they go to when it’s very dangerous to live inside their bus. They don’t prefer staying for long, however, since they constantly need to find supplies and other necessities they need (or crave. Whichever works honestly).
Initially deemed inhospitable due to rampant plant infestations, it was only through a series of skirmishes and clean-ups that most of the plants were purged, making it habitable for a certain amount of time. Periodical checks are done to ensure no plants are growing anywhere without the knowledge of any one of the trio. The format of the building could be seen in the blueprints.
On the 5th floor of the building, you can find Abbi’s laboratory. Here is where she usually creates her medicines and other concoctions, and is also the location to find the pills, first aid items, and other medicinal drinks. If you are hurt and in need of a 'healing touch', you may go up to the 5th floor and ask for help. She may also modify one's weapons here.
NOTE: Abbi is not skilled in welding or putting together machines. She is only good at inserting chemicals into already made weapons to make it better. For example, she can help you make a better and bigger flame thrower with multiple capacities but she can't help you make the item itself. She is only good with making external mods.
NOTE 2: Her mixtures are always 99% effective. They taste worse than hell itself, but you do not have to worry about their capabilities.
This is where Lotta’s buses are located. There are several vehicles here that they’ve collected over the years of the apocalypse, and Lotta holds the keys to said vehicles so that these wouldn’t be used irresponsibly. Multiple broken--scratch that, multiple decimated vehicles, however, are parked at the back, with multiple neon graffiti scrawled over its surface, and suspicious looking dent marks heavily hammered at the side. Words of 'I'm sorry, I promise not to do it again' in cursive pink marker are repeated countlessly on the broken vehicles, with indecipherable electric blue chicken-scratch beside half of it.
Nobody drives the 'main' bus but Lotta. She is quite protective of her vehicles and mostly treats them better than any person. In order to take a vehicle out, report your business to Lotta and approximate the time it'll take to complete it. If Lotta approves--don't bet on it though--, you'll receive a vehicle key.
A rumor flies around that Ise is growing a taboo-garden somewhere in the building, a possible large-scale risk towards anyone residing within. However, no one has seen it before, except possibly for the trio who either just smiles innocently or scoffs at its mention. Apparently, it’s not even on the 6th floor, the only place restricted to others, as anyone would presume, so where could that garden possibly be? Honestly, who knows if it really exists or not. It's not as if a liar like Ise says the truth anyway, haven't she spread a lot of faux tales since all her life? And even if it were true, she's not the first one to grow a taboo garden. What's safety anyway?
Living freely is fun.
Living freely with an unknown risk of a mutated vegetation killing you as you sleep in the base because someone thought it'd be fucking fun to sneak them in is fun.
Alas, at the end of the day, it just seems like a running gag Ise made up to mess with others. What flowery scent in the middle of the night? My, my, my, are you sure you're not being blighted?
Are you done? Then get out of my sight.
