If you want premium noise cancellation, featherlight comfort for extended wear, and a stable connection that handles long workouts without fatigue, choose HEING Ear Buds; if you need advanced touchscreen controls on the case, customizable sound profiles with five EQ modes, and a rugged design built for high-impact sports, choose jaddsa Earbuds.
I have spent considerable time analyzing the specifications and design philosophies behind these two contenders to help you decide which pair belongs in your pocket. The market is flooded with options, but finding best in ear earbuds for big ears often comes down to fit stability and weight distribution rather than just raw specs. Both brands have made significant strides in 2026 with their latest models, yet they target slightly different user needs. One prioritizes the sensory experience of silence and weightlessness, while the other focuses on interactive control and sonic customization.
• HEING Ear Buds: Offers industry-leading Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with ENC dual-mode tech and an ultra-lightweight 4g per bud design for all-day comfort; trade-off is a standard touch interface without a display case. Best for users who prioritize deep silence and lightweight ergonomics during long listening sessions.
• jaddsa Earbuds: Features a unique multifunction touchscreen charging case and 5 distinct EQ presets for tailored audio profiles; trade-off is a slightly bulkier design due to the hook structure and larger drivers. Best for athletes who want hands-free case control and specific sound signatures for different workout intensities.
• The Verdict: Choose HEING for the best lightweight on ear headphones for big ears seeking comfort, or jaddsa if you crave technical customization and rugged durability.
The HEING Ear Buds are engineered for the user who values immersion above all else. The standout feature here is the hybrid ANC system paired with ENC, which claims to minimize ambient noise by 90%. If you work in a noisy open office, commute on crowded trains, or simply enjoy the silence of a quiet room, this dual-mode approach is designed to create a focused soundscape. The technology adapts dynamically, neutralizing distractions ranging from traffic hum to keyboard clicks. For someone looking for in ear earbuds for big ears, the semi-in-ear structure is a critical detail; it enhances airflow to reduce ear fatigue, a common complaint with fully sealed buds that can feel hot and pressurized after an hour of use.
Weight is another decisive factor in this category. At only 4 grams per side, these buds are described as weighing like a feather. This specification is not just a number; it translates to a physical sensation where the earbud feels almost nonexistent on your lobe. The manufacturer notes that the design was tested by over 50 athletes for eight hours of continuous wear, suggesting a level of ergonomic calibration that prioritizes long-term stability over aggressive clamping force. The inclusion of three sizes of soft silicone ear tips allows for a conforming fit that accommodates various ear canal shapes, which is essential for those with larger ear structures who often struggle with generic sizing falling out.

However, this model is not for everyone. If you are the type of person who loves tweaking settings directly from the charging case or wants visual confirmation of your volume levels without reaching for your phone, the HEING buds might feel too basic. They rely on pressure-sensitive touch sensors on the earbuds themselves for skipping tracks, adjusting volume, and managing calls. While these sensors are noted for minimizing accidental triggers, they lack the tactile feedback and immediate visual interface that some power users prefer. Furthermore, while the Bluetooth 5.3 chip offers a stable range up to 32 feet, it is worth noting that the latency is around 30 milliseconds, which is excellent for video, but the overall package leans heavily towards passive comfort and active noise suppression rather than interactive features.
The jaddsa Earbuds take a different approach, focusing heavily on user interaction and sonic versatility. The most distinct hardware innovation here is the revolutionary touchscreen control case. Unlike traditional cases that merely charge the buds, this unit integrates a smart interactive system allowing you to switch songs, adjust volume, toggle between five EQ modes, and even locate lost earbuds directly from the lid. For a shopper who frequently manages playlists while driving or working out without touching their phone, this feature provides a level of convenience that is rare in the sub-$100 market. The ability to instantly switch between Rock, Hip-hop, Pop, Classic, and Bass Boost modes means you can tailor the audio output to match your activity—whether that is the heavy beats needed for sprints or the clear vocals required for a yoga session.
In terms of physical build, jaddsa has opted for a more robust construction suited for high-intensity environments. The design includes flexible silicone earhooks combined with three sizes of ear tips (S-L), creating a "gravity-defying" fit. This structural difference is significant; the hooks add a layer of security that prevents the buds from dislodging during burpees, mountain climbing, or rapid head movements. The IPX7 waterproof rating, verified through extensive lab testing, ensures these buds can handle heavy sweating and sudden rainstorms without issue. Additionally, the use of oversized 12mm drivers suggests a focus on delivering high-fidelity stereo sound with zero distortion, appealing to listeners who want a powerful, bass-heavy experience that can be physically felt during exercise.
That said, the jaddsa design comes with its own set of trade-offs. The addition of earhooks and the larger driver units likely increases the overall weight and profile compared to the featherlight HEING option. For users with very sensitive ears or those who find any external hook uncomfortable, this design might be a dealbreaker. While the Bluetooth 5.4 technology promises faster pairing and a 33-foot range, the reliance on the touchscreen case means that if the case battery dies, you lose the ability to adjust EQ or volume easily. Furthermore, the Adaptive ANC, while effective, does not boast the same specific 90% ambient noise reduction claim found in the HEING data, suggesting it may be slightly less aggressive in purely canceling out background chatter in favor of situational awareness.
• Best for battery life and total usage time → HEING Ear Buds: With a single charge lasting 6 hours and a total of 50 hours with the case, plus a rapid charge capability of 10 minutes for 1 hour of playtime, these are superior for marathon listening sessions.
• Best for interactive control and customization → jaddsa Earbuds: The touchscreen case and 5 preset EQ modes offer a level of audio tailoring and ease of access that the HEING buds simply do not provide.
• Best for noise isolation and silence → HEING Ear Buds: The dual-mode ANC/ENC system explicitly targets 90% noise minimization, making it the stronger choice for commuters and office workers needing deep focus.
• Best for intense athletic performance → jaddsa Earbuds: The secure earhook design and IPX7 rating verified by 5,000 lab tests make them ideal for high-impact activities like sprinting or HIIT where stability is paramount.
• Best for comfort during extended wear → HEING Ear Buds: At 4 grams per side with a semi-in-ear airflow design, these are significantly lighter and less prone to causing heat buildup or fatigue over long periods.
• Best for modern connectivity standards → jaddsa Earbuds: Equipped with Bluetooth 5.4, offering a 2x faster connection speed and enhanced stability in high-interference zones compared to the 5.3 chip in the HEING buds.
• Best for big ears seeking a secure fit → HEING Ear Buds: The combination of lightweight materials and multiple tip sizes creates a natural seal without the bulk of hooks, often preferred by those with larger ear canals who find hooks irritating.
• Best value for audio enthusiasts → jaddsa Earbuds: The 12mm drivers and dynamic EQ adjustments provide a more customizable listening experience for those who care deeply about the specific frequency response of their music.
After weighing the specifications and considering the specific needs of someone with larger ears, I would personally buy the HEING Ear Buds. The primary reason is the sheer focus on comfort and weight. In my opinion, the 4-gram per bud spec is a game-changer for anyone who wears earbuds for more than an hour at a time. When you have bigger ears, the friction and pressure from heavier buds or external hooks can become painful quickly, leading you to take them off before you are done. The HEING's semi-in-ear design addresses this by promoting airflow and reducing the "plugged" feeling, which is crucial for long-term usability. While the jaddsa case is clever, the physical burden of the earhooks and the slightly heavier drivers makes them less suitable for the specific demographic of users seeking the best lightweight on ear headphones for big ears. If your priority is a seamless, silent, and comfortable experience that disappears from your ear, the HEING buds are the clear winner.
Both models offer three sizes of ear tips, but the HEING Ear Buds are specifically designed with a semi-in-ear structure that reduces pressure and fatigue, making them generally more comfortable for larger ear shapes than the hook-based jaddsa design.
Yes, the jaddsa Earbuds feature a touchscreen charging case that lets you switch between five EQ modes (Rock, Hip-hop, Pop, etc.) and adjust volume directly from the case, whereas the HEING buds require touch controls on the earbuds themselves.
The HEING Ear Buds offer a longer total runtime of 50 hours with the case and support rapid charging (10 minutes for 1 hour of play), making them more reliable for extended travel days compared to the jaddsa model.
Yes, the HEING buds utilize a hybrid ANC+ENC system that claims to minimize ambient noise by 90%, providing a focused soundscape that effectively blocks out gym machinery and crowd noise better than standard passive isolation.
