As a leader in special education, I believe that all students are unique and have the ability to thrive when supported through the collaboration of all stakeholders to remove barriers in a proactive and empathetic way. There are several key elements I work towards to ensure this occurs.
As a leader in special education, I believe that all students are unique and have the ability to thrive when supported through the collaboration of all stakeholders to remove barriers in a proactive and empathetic way. There are several key elements I work towards to ensure this occurs.
1) Advocating for the best interest of the student
2) Establishing positive relationships
3) Collaborating through maintaining an open dialogue
4) Coaching, mentoring and providing training for staff and parents
5) Creating and maintaining clear systems
