When I was a little girl I remember my mom making homemade play-doh for my siblings and I. We were so excited and ran to the basement and made trinkets, "martians", and other creations for hours. That was my first experience with sculpting anything. Since that time I have been involved in many different art forms: drawing, painting, crocheting, sewing, sculpting, etc. In 2016 I was trying to figure out what I was going to do since all of my children where in school. It was during this time that I had a conversation with my older/wiser friend about what I should do and he said to me, "Heidi you have been given a great talent and you need to use it", because of this conversation I decided to take my friend's advice and I decided to go to college and major in 3D studies.
As a Bachelor of Fine Arts major, I've been able to learn from many different professors who have helped me to broaden my understanding of different mediums and techniques which has helped me to be a more well-rounded artist.
I have always loved children, I have six of my own, and I found great enjoyment in sculpting babies, so I decided to create limited edition silicone baby dolls.
I hope you will enjoy joining me on this journey!
