HEGworks is the developer name of me, Hessam Ghadimi. Welcome to my site!
I am a Software Engineer student, interested in game developing, trying to reach my goal and find my role in this industry.
This site's purpose is to be used as a showcase of my released/In-progress projects. Also has DevLog that I plan to use from time to time.
As a kid I started playing around with GameMaker Studio, and got interested in game making. But stopped at playing around stage because I didn't know many things and my mother language is not English and I didn't know it back then; So I couldn't use online courses or YT etc.
Time moved on and I chose Software Engineering as my course in college. I started coding there. Learned basics of programming with c++, Then started using Java on more advanced concepts like GUI, algorithms, Data Structures etc.
As I was wondering what from the huge world of computers do I want, I decided to give game developing a chance... and I loved it! I started with Godot engine and gave it some tries, then started Unity and when I found the big community and potential of the engine (by looking at some nice titles made with it like: Ori, Hollow Knight, My Friend Pedro etc.) I knew this was something that I can rely on.
Now I am making games and coding with C# in Unity along with learning and knowing more about it, day by day.
