The first time I worked on a car was when my ex-girlfriend hit a telephone pole in my car. I was 16 and could not afford auto shop repairs. So I bought a cheap kit of tools and called a junk yard. Fixed my car for only 75$. After that I just gained experience. I gain knowledge on basic mechanics of a car, by helping a friend with his dirt track car. When I moved to St Charles I got offered a job as a mobile mechanic just doing general maintenance on cars. Every now and again I would be throw a bigger job like brakes or a valve cover gasket. Then I left and went to jiffy lube as my first real shop job. I learned a lot there before traveling to Columbia and working for Kia of Columbia. I built up my collection of tools and diagnostic equipment and decided to start my own mobile mechanic job. Now I am working for toms imports, and on the side i'm running my own business. Everyone who helps spread the word really are the bread and butter of my company. I'm about honest about my work and don't charge for time I don't need. I get most jobs done for a flat rate in less it calls for a large about of labor hours.
