Heer Majithia is a Ph. D candidate in the Brinson Lab Group at Duke University and is investigating the processing-structure-property relationship in heterogeneous polymeric systems. In particular, her disseration work focusses on using atomic force microscopy to determine the local mechanical propeties in various polymer interphase system. Before Duke, Heer completed her Bachelors in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Alongside her research, Heer is passionate about teaching and has pursued numerous opportunities at her graduate and undergraduate institutions.
