Heehyun (Bucky) Park

Hi, I am Heehyun (Bucky) Park. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Penn State University, University Park, where I was advised by Dr. Antonio Blanca. I also received my M.A. in Mathematics from Penn State, working with Dr. Izabella Stuhl.

My research interests lie in probability and statistical physics, especially spin systems, Gibbs measures, phase transitions, and sampling algorithms. I am also broadly interested in geometric and topological methods for data analysis and related machine learning applications. 

Outside of research, I am passionate about football (not American football).
