Hi, my name is Nela Teglova and I am a Registered Nutritionist. I was always interested in Nutrition since I was a child I loved all types of chocolates and sweets...unsurprisingly. My dream job was to sell ice cream. Later on, I tried all sorts of diets - vegetarian, vegan, keto, intermittent fasting etc. I was obsessed with diets because I was interested so much in losing body fat to look a certain way. This idea I got already when I was a child and the diet culture got ingrained in me. I followed extremes and my mental health suffered as a result of that.
In 2006 I started to practice Buddhism and I meditated every day which helped me to look at nutrition from a different perspective. I was more interested in health rather than purely aesthetics. After I finished my university in Human Nutrition I discovered that following extreme fad diets is no longer a good idea and I can achieve a balanced healthy diet and have a healthy relationship with food. I got very interested in the holistic approach to nutrition by following Blue Zones, where life purpose and socialising make those people live long, healthy and happy lives. I started to see nutrition connected more to the mind and happiness. Restrictive diets would no longer be an option.
My mission is to help people lose body fat to get amazing health benefits whilst feeling great and enjoying not only their food but also their lives.
