Our Definition Of A Safe Space

The term “safe space” seemed a little vague so we came up with our own definition that we all agree with and are comfortable representing and trying to uphold. We want to welcome people of all colors, ages, and the LGBTQA community into our space. We enjoy our role in the community which we are always trying to grow with new events and offerings.

We are working towards having a shop where all are judged on the content of their character and nothing else. You are welcome here regardless of your beliefs, what you look like, or how you identify. We will not allow racist, homophobic, ableist, or transphobic language or harassment in the shop. If it does occur we will ask you to stop. If you do not we may refuse to finish your tattoo. If you are entering this space please be respectful of the other people around you. Remember this is not a therapy session and keep in mind that some topics might be triggering to others, if someone tries to redirect your conversation equanimity is greatly appreciated. 

We would love to hear your feedback to continually grow and improve. We have added an anonymous feedback form to our linktree. On the form you can provide any feedback, comments, compliments, or suggestions. 

A huge heartfelt thank you to all of the people who have already given their support to this new business. We so appreciate the overwhelming enthusiasm from our community that has helped us grow to be the cozy space we dreamed of.

Shop Policies

• Our shop minimum for all artists (excluding flash deals) is $120

• Our cancellation policy is that we must be notified at least 48 hours before your appointment or you forfeit your deposit

• If you haven’t contacted us or your artist to say you will be late you forfeit your deposit and appointment 20 minutes past your allotted time 

• No-call no-shows you not only forfeit your deposit but it is up to the artist if they are willing to rebook you at all, if they do choose to, it will likely be a higher deposit

• We are no longer requiring masks at the shop, but masks are available on a shelf right inside the door for your convenience.  You can also ask your artist to wear a mask

• Every artist at the shop offers free rainbow dot tests to BIPOC and allergy tests to everyone. Allergy tests are usually if you have already had an allergy to a color before, we do the same color in different brands so we can determine if the allergy is to a whole color or to a specific brand instead

• We offer referral discounts! For each person you refer who makes an appointment with one of our artists you can both get $20 off! Up to three may be used in one appointment, for $60 off. Both you and the person you have referred must let us know though, we are not mind readers! 

• Please don’t feel like you need to explain anything, but you can always discuss your budget with your artist. Especially for projects we would really enjoy we are sometimes willing to be flexible with price

• We have a right to refuse any tattoo idea or to tattoo any person. Even during a tattoo if a client is making others uncomfortable we are not required to finish your tattoo and may ask you to leave in extreme cases
