HEC Monuments was started in 2009 by Hank Clare when he became more familiar with post-life planning and the importance of helping his friends, family & community with affordability. A big part of our business is referrals and "word of mouth" which we believe means the most because our customers become friends who have the confidence to recommend us for this important purchase.
At HEC Monuments, our office is the cemetery! We feel the best way for our customers to see examples and get ideas to help design their monument is to take a walk through a cemetery to see and feel the many different options. We don't have a storefront or show room, and this helps us keep our costs down and provide you with more affordable options.
We also understand that life is busy and meeting with one of our sales associates may not be possible, so we are happy to work with you via phone/email.
Our family is very hands on when it comes to delivery and installation, we want to ensure everything runs smoothly and looks perfect for our customers.

Hank is the founder & backbone of HEC. He is truly a people person and has never met a stranger! He spends his time traveling and making memories with his 11 grandchildren. During the winter months, you can find Hank in Vermont skiing & working at Okemo Mountain Resort.

Emily is one of Hank's daughters who enjoys working alongside family at HEC. She keeps busy with her twins, dogs, and spending time with many nieces and nephews.

Amanda is one of Hank's daughters, as well as being his ski buddy! She is a wonderful mother of 2 and loves spending time outdoors.
