Is there parking?

Yes, there is opposite the Hall.  Entry to the parking area is floodlit at night

May I park on the front driveway?

Yes to unload or load; yes for a limited number of disabled guests

• Please do not park on the grass

• Please do not park infront of the almshouses 

Can I view the Hall prior to booking?

Yes, by arrangement, please email us 

Do you have tables and chairs?

Yes, we have rectangular tables and basic office style chairs; if you require these please highlight the requirement and the number of attendees in your booking

Will the Hall be unlocked when I arrive?

Yes, our Caretaker will have prepared the hall ready for your arrival and will lock up promptly after your departure

Does the hall have a sound system or wifi?

We do not have a sound system but wifi is available for all users; details on noticeboard

May I have a DJ/live music?

Yes, but as per terms and conditions all music must stop by 11.30pm; please ensure that the volume is suitable for the residential area in which the hall is located.

• The hall will be locked at midnight

• You may extend your hire the following morning (subject to availability) to tidy up / pack

May I decorate the hall?

Yes but only if using low tack masking tape or blutack to avoid damage to paintwork

What are the heating arrangements?

The hall has modern thermostats in each room and ceiling fans for air distribution

Is the hall licensed for the sale of alcohol?

No; if you wish to sell alcohol at your event you can obtain a temporary license at a reasonable cost from Hart District Council

What is in the kitchen?

Main Hall

• Fridge/freezer, triple oven cooker with grill, combi microwave, kettle and tea urn.

• Mugs, cups, saucers, dinner and side plates, dessert bowls, cutlery

Millenium Room

• Kitchenette with sink, kettle and mugs

Please note we do not have a dishwasher and that it is your responsibility to wash up anything that you use

Is there an outdoor area?

Yes, there is a garden attached to the Main Hall that is included within the booking of the Main Hall.  Please note that the Hall is in a residential area and that the garden is bordered by our neighbours.  Please have your guests act as you would like them to in your own home and garden.

Are we allowed to have a bouncy castle?

This can normally be accomodated however we would like plenty of notice and to understand where you would like to use it (inside or outside). Please note that this is entirely at the bookers risk
