What do I draw?

I will draw:
Original characters | Fan art | Humans & humanoids | Real people (stylised) | Animals (stylised) | Character reference sheets | Suggestive/light NSFW of adult characters (not real people & depends on specific request)

I won't draw:
Comics or chibis (yet) | Realism | Explicit NSFW | Explicit gore (scars are fine) | Furry | Mecha | Imitations of other art styles | Incest or p*dophilic ships | Hateful content/hate symbols | Anything else that makes me uncomfortable.

I reserve the right to reject any commission.

Terms of Service

• Commissions are digital & for personal use only! For any commercial inquiries, such as commissioned art for book covers, endpapers, promotional art etc, please email me to discuss - heaventide.art@gmail.com

• Payment is upfront in GBP (£) via PayPal or Ko-Fi.

• No refunds are permitted, unless I am unable to complete the work.

• If you have a deadline, this must be clearly set with me prior to the start of the creation process.

• References are required - art, photos, moodboards, picrews*, etc. (*I will only use art and picrews to reference features of the character/person, not the art style.) NO genAI references. If found to be the case, your commission fee will be immediately refunded & I will not move forward with the commission. You will also be refused any future commission requests.

• No genAI in ANY form will ever be used to create any of my commissions or artwork.

• I reserve the right to use the produced artwork to promote or display my work, such as on social media or in my portfolio (unless you request for your commission to remain private).

• Please always be respectful & patient towards me to keep the process smooth & enjoyable for both of us! Art takes a lot of time and effort :)

The process

1. Fill out the commission form & I'll reach out to you via your preferred contact method*. If you have preferences regarding canvas size, format, etc, please let me know in the form or as soon as otherwise possible. If you have any problems with filling out the form or you have any questions, please do DM me @heaventide_ on Instagram or email me at heaventide.art@gmail.com!

*Slots are limited, so you may be placed on a waitlist, in which case I'll reach out to you when a slot opens up. One person may claim only one slot at a time.

2. You send me your reference materials & we discuss your idea. Once we’ve confirmed what you want, I’ll let you know the price. Once I've received your payment, I’ll begin working on your commission.

If any reference photos include you or anyone around you, please be assured I will never share them anywhere!

3. First I'll make an initial rough sketch & send it to you. At this stage, you get 2 free major changes or 1 free redo*. Once you've approved the rough sketch, I'll move on to the next stage.

*After the sketch stage, minor changes are still free, but any major changes will incur additional costs to reflect the extra work (for examples of each, ask me). Please don't wait to speak up if you're unhappy with something!

4. I'll check in with you at each stage (lines, flats, render) to ensure you’re happy with how the piece is going. Progress updates can be requested anytime, but be mindful that I also have a day job and may not be able to respond immediately. Please allow between 2-6 weeks for me to complete your commission; turnaround time will vary depending on complexity, and may extend beyond 6 weeks if your request is especially large or complex. If you have a deadline, you must inform me of this before I start creating your commission.*

*I'll do my best to accommodate deadlines, but please keep it realistic for the complexity level!

5. Once you're happy with it & any additional charges have been paid, the final commission will be emailed to you in 300dpi resolution in JPEG or PNG file format (or both). I hope you love your new piece of art :)

Use

As stated, commissions are for personal use only. If you'd like to inquire about a commission for commercial purposes, please email me.

Personal use means you can:
- Print the piece out for yourself.
- Share the piece on social media, as long as you properly tag & credit me.

You can't:
- Claim the work as your own.
- Use the work for Artificial Intelligence (AI) training or edit the work using AI.
- Use the work for profit, as in re-selling the work either digitally (NFTs) or physically (prints).
- Use the work in the creation of any merchandise (t-shirts, mugs, etc).
- Use the work as rewards on membership platforms such as Patreon, Ko-Fi etc without my express permission.
- Publish the work (for example, on the cover of a book or inside of a book).
- Edit the piece without my permission.
- Remove my signature.
