Through the Fractured Sky is a heavenly descent into memory, nostalgia, and the silent fury of love. It weaves cosmic imagery with intensely human agony throughout ten journeys, alternating between intimate confession and dreamy din. Stories of lovers out of motion, fate-driven heart misalignments and brief epiphanies in emotional fog, each piece seems like a piece of a dying transmission. The sound strikes a delicate balance between grandeur and fragility, flowing from hushed reflection to imposing walls that appear to melt into the background.

Its airy exterior belies an exploration of deterioration and connection, of how we remember, reach, and lose. The emotional expanse is connected to something familiar and human through a sense of grounded nostalgia and legendary melancholy. Beauty, distance and the inevitable letting go are all explored beneath the fragmented air.

A cover of Couple from their 2006 debut Top Of The Pop, created to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary show (6th December 2025). The track captures everything that makes Couple special, catchy melodies, honest lyrics, and the DIY spirit that helped shape Malaysia’s indie sound. Listening to it feels like returning to the roots of the local indie scene, when the band’s early days of simple home recordings and pure passion grew into something lasting. Malaysian indie flourished through creativity, community, and the magic of turning everyday emotions into timeless songs.
