Immersion Tubular Heaters
Immersion tubular heaters are versatile heating elements designed to directly heat liquids and gases within tanks, vessels, and various industrial equipment. They consist of a tubular heating element, often made of stainless steel, Incoloy, or other suitable materials, that is directly immersed in the fluid or gas being heated.
Common Connection Types:
Screw Plug Heaters: These heaters feature a threaded end that screws directly into a threaded opening in the vessel wall. Common thread sizes include 1/2", 3/4", and 1" NPT.
Flange Heaters: These heaters are equipped with a flange that allows them to be securely bolted onto the vessel using a matching flange. Common flange sizes include DN50mm, DN80mm, and DN100mm, among others. Flange materials typically include stainless steel and brass.
Applications:
Immersion heaters find widespread use in various applications, including:
Water Heating: Domestic water heaters, commercial water heaters, industrial water heating systems, and boiler systems.
Chemical Processing: Heating chemical solutions in tanks and reactors.
Food Processing: Heating fluids and liquids used in food processing equipment.
Solar Energy Systems: Heating fluids in solar water heating systems.
Other Applications: Swimming pools, hot tubs, and various industrial processes
