• • Oversees the project timeline and ensures design aligns with the app's mission and user needs. 

Caroline Gomez: Design & Software

• Develops the app's codebase and integrates design elements with real-time weather data. 

Gabriel Mendoza: Research & hardware

• Conducts research on heatwave safety and ensures accurate, location-specific guidance in the app.

Team Assessment

Our team has successfully met the objectives and milestones we set for this semester. Through regular meetings during class sessions on Tuesday and Thursday and additional collaborative work outside these times, we maintained steady progress on the heatwave safety app. These efforts included completing required deliverables, seeking feedback from advisors, and advancing the project independently. By adhering to the high standards we established, we have positioned ourselves well for continued success in the coming phases of development. Each team member has effectively fulfilled their roles. Tasks have been assigned based on individual expertise, fostering accountability while enabling efficient progress. For larger deliverables, we collaborated as a group, ensuring collective input and maintaining alignment with our project goals. 

Moving forward, we remain committed to this approach, confident that it will help us achieve our vision for the app. Our dedication to effective communication, teamwork, and structured workflows has been key to our progress this semester, and we are excited to build on this foundation as we enter the next stage of our project.
